I
am
a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary
Medicine with 20 years of experience. While pursuing my veterinary
degree, I did an externship with Dr. Bonnie Beaver, one of the top
veterinary behavior specialists in the country. Following graduation,
I have taken over 200 hours of Continuing Education courses related to
behavioral medicine while seeing clients in clinical practice.
In addition, I am married and have a large family of my own with four teenage
children, three dogs and two cats. I compete in the top
level of the sport of Dog Agility; most recently invited to compete in
the National Finals for the Australian Shepherd Club of America
(ASCA). In February 2010, I also received the 2009 Top Team Award for
Excellent A level from the Cleveland All Breed Training Club. All of
this has given me a unique perspective and understanding from a
personal level on the many situations where behavior and its management
become a concern. I am an experienced veterinarian in medical,
behavioral and exhibition issues.
I hope to make this website informative so you can prevent problems and
manage existing ones. When you reach your limit, I am here to help.
